work

I work at a place called connells club 12, i work as a dishwasher there, of course i love working there, i get along with everyone and am not annoyed with anyone, well almost anyone, except for one, her name, is jessica and she annoys everyone at work and when i say everyone i mean everyone even our boss hates her but he doesn't have the guts to fire her butt out off there.
The reason everyone hates her is because she does nothing when she works she just stands in the back of the kitchen eating and texting to people while everyone else is working there butts off. and then she complains that she is bored and has nothing to do and so on and so forth, not only that but if we tell her to do something she will start doing it but the moment you turn your back she is in the kitchen talking to the cooks, which also annoys the cooks because they are trying to get orders out to people but they can't because jessica is always in there way, then one of the waitresses would chew her out and make her go back, after that it just goes in a full circle all night. Fridays and Saturdays are particularly annoying with here because those are the only days she works there because no one wants to be stuck with her, which i can totally see why.

here is one of the stories which i heard from the waitress this tuesday:

so Jessica had to work all week because i was in San diego for a week, and on that tuesday it was getting pretty busy so the waitress, who was Denise, told jessica to do the shrimp cocktail sauce since she was to busy to do it herself, and lo and behold jessica didn't do it. So the next day there was a group of 30 people there, and she knew about that a week in advance, and well they ran out of shrimp cocktail sauce and then at the last minute jessica starts to do it, well not only was the waitress there it was also our boss and manager making sure things were going smoothly and well when the Denise saw that jessica was doing them at the last minute she just goes all out on here and yells "well jessica if you did them yesterday like i told you then you wouldn't be in this mess" but wait...there is more, behind Denise was my boss and the manager and there expressions were priceless, they both had a huge grin on there faces because jessica was getting here butt chewed out.

Not only that but she almost burned down the place 3 times, 2 out of the 3 times involed the microwave and a frozen dinner roll that she forgot she put it in the microwave and it ignited, she says she didn't do it for those 2 times but we know she did it. and the other time she was bringing rags from upstairs and they weren't completly dry and just came out of the dryer well she folds them up and puts some underneath a metal table adjacent to the oven, and the others in a drawer. well about 5 minutes later the place starts to smell really smokey and we relized that the rags started to combust, some of them were burnt others were not, so we took the rags out of the drawer and they were starting to smoke as well. another thing is that she is so gullible, me and Corey, a cook that used to work at connells, told her that there was a gnome running around downstairs with a butcher knife she believed every word and then she didn't want to go downstairs alone, not only that but she thought siete meant one in spanish..so there are some stories that the girl jessica has done so far, hoping to write more about her, its always interesting when she does stupid stuff and she doesn't know.
